Google takes no crypto, so you pay for Google AI Pro (Gemini) with crypto through a store card: an Apple card in the Gemini iPhone app, or a Google Play card where Google accepts Play balance for Google One. Does Google accept crypto for Google AI Pro?
No. Google AI Pro is a Google One plan, and Google One is managed in Google Play subscriptions. Google Play's payment page lists cards, carrier billing, Play balance and gift cards, paysafecard and PayPal, depending on the country. No coin and no crypto processor appears there (read 22 October 2026).
The crypto route is therefore a store card bought with crypto. On iPhone, the Gemini app sells Google AI Pro through the App Store. On Android, Google AI Pro is billed through Google Play.
Can I pay for Google AI Pro with a Google Play gift card?
Only in some countries. Google's Google One help lists "Google Play balance (Selected countries/regions only)" among the payment methods (read 22 October 2026). Our research found no list of those countries. Google's Play help adds that "Some subscriptions do not accept Stored Value", and that a balance pays only content "sold in the same currency as your balance."
Google Play prices for Google AI Pro were not checked, so we do not say which card value pays a month on Android. Google also does not say whether a Play balance keeps paying renewals until it is empty. Can I pay for Gemini with an Apple gift card?
Yes, by subscribing in the Gemini app on iPhone or iPad. The US listing sells "Google AI Pro (5 TB)" at US$19.99, plus Google AI Ultra. Apple's rules state an Apple Account balance pays subscriptions bought in the App Store: "Or pay for subscriptions to apps from the App Store." Apple keeps exceptions it does not list, and some purchases need a credit card on file.
Google's help says Google One can be bought "in the Apple store". A plan bought that way stays with Apple: to change it, Google says you switch through iOS Settings. Apple charges the balance first at each renewal, then your other payment methods.
How much does Google AI Pro cost in each country?
According to AISubswithCrypto's price check of 29 October 2026, the App Store and Google's own web page show the same Google AI Pro price in 35 of the 37 countries where both were read. The card column is the smallest single Apple card we sell in that country that covers the monthly App Store price; US and Canadian prices exclude sales tax, so we add 12% and 15% there. Web prices come from gemini.google, read the same day.

In two of the 37 countries compared on 29 October 2026. In Brazil the gap is 9 centavos: R$ 96,90 in the App Store against R$ 96,99 on the web. In Kenya it is large: the web shows KES 3,700 a month (about US$28.48), while the Kenyan App Store charges USD 19.99, 29.8% less.

What are the limits of paying Gemini with a card?
Each card works only in its own country. A card works only with an Apple Account or Google account of the same country as the card, and an App Store or Google Play subscription renews from that balance only while it lasts. We do not help anyone change their account country to pay a lower regional price; Google, for its part, lets you change your Play country only once every 90 days.
Google One's terms also say "You may not sell or transfer AI credits to another user or account", while sharing with the plan's family group is allowed. Apple says funds in an Apple Account balance are "available only to you". Our limits: delivery within 24 hours, Apple cards for Hong Kong SAR China, Luxembourg, South Africa, Taiwan on request, and orders for Indonesia, Türkiye, Vietnam paused on Google Play.
