How does our Google Play price compare?

According to AISubswithCrypto's price check of 29 October 2026, a US$25 Google Play card at face value tied Bitrefill. It cost US$0.42 less than at Coinsbee and about US$1.00 less than at Cryptorefills. CoinGate's timed promotion was US$0.23 below face value, so it was the cheapest that evening; at its list price it was US$0.28 above. On Google Play, our price is level with the best sellers, not below them.

Which AI subscriptions can a Google Play balance pay?

Google's rule is general: "You can buy & subscribe to content & services on Google Play." The same page adds that "Some subscriptions do not accept Stored Value", without naming them. The US card terms also exclude "certain subscriptions".

• Google AI Pro (Gemini). Google One's help lists "Google Play balance (Selected countries/regions only)" as a payment method. It does not publish the country list. Gemini with crypto.
• Claude. Claude's help says that in the app "your payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play". Claude Pro with crypto.
• Grok. xAI's help covers plans "bought ... through Google Play" and sends you to Play to manage them.
• Perplexity. Its help says Google Play subscriptions "cannot be transferred" to the web.
• ChatGPT. OpenAI's help says mobile subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google.

No AI vendor names Play balance in its own help. We did not check Google Play prices, so we do not say which card value pays a month on Android. The balance must also be in the currency of the item: "You can use your balance to buy content that's sold in the same currency as your balance."

What happens at renewal when the Play balance runs out?

Google's split payment, balance plus another method, covers only the first charge or an upgrade. "For all subsequent subscription renewal payments, only your primary payment method and any backups you've configured will be charged."

If a renewal fails, Google can give a grace period. Then "your account may be placed on hold for up to 60 days during which you can't use the subscription". If nothing changes, "the subscription is automatically canceled." Google does not say whether a Play balance set as the primary method keeps renewing until it is empty. Redeem the next card before the renewal date.

Can I use a Google Play card from another country?

No. Each card belongs to one country. For example: A Google Play gift card for United States requires the receiving Google Play account country to match United States; redemption and use must be in the purchase country and USD currency. The US terms limit cards to "residents of the USA"; the German terms to residents of Germany aged 16 or more.

Changing your Play country is limited to once every 90 days. Google says "you must be in that location and have a payment method from the new country or region", and the old balance does not follow you. We do not help anyone change their account country to pay a lower regional price. Coinsbee's page tells buyers "Do not use VPN"; Cryptorefills says codes do not work outside their country "including via VPN".

How do I redeem a Google Play gift card code?

Sign in to your own Google account, the one set to the card's country, and enter the code at https://play.google.com/redeem. The value is added to your Play balance. Then subscribe in the AI app on Android and check that Play balance is offered on the payment screen before you confirm.
