What payment methods does Claude accept?
Cards only, on claude.ai. Anthropic's help on declined cards says "We accept credit cards and debit cards for all purchases" and "we do not accept third-party payment processors such as PayPal or Venmo" (updated 10 July 2026, read 22 October 2026). It also asks that the card's billing address match the "origin country". Claude's pricing page lists cards only, with no ACH or invoicing.
No coin and no crypto processor appears. The one exception to card-only billing is the mobile app: Anthropic says that there "your payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play". If your card keeps failing, see why Claude declines cards.
Can I buy a Claude gift subscription with crypto?
No. Anthropic's gift article says "Gift subscriptions are currently unavailable to purchase", with no return date (read 29 October 2026). An offer to buy one for you and email it does not match Anthropic's own help page. How can I pay for Claude with crypto anyway?

How much does Claude cost through the App Store?
According to AISubswithCrypto's price check of 29 October 2026, Claude Pro costs more than the US$20.00 US price in 31 of the 38 App Store countries that sell Claude. The median is US$24.14, from US$17.68 in Pakistan to US$31.74 in Colombia. Method: each country's "Claude Pro - Monthly" price converted to USD at the 28 October 2026 NBP rates. The US price excludes sales tax; most other storefronts include it.
In the US, Pro monthly costs the same US$20.00 in the app and on the web. Max costs 25% more on iPhone: US$124.99 against US$100 for Max 5x, US$249.99 against US$200 for Max 20x. Pro annual is US$214.99 against US$200. Claude is not sold in Hong Kong's App Store. Every country: Claude Pro price by country.
Does the Claude API accept crypto?
No. Anthropic's API help says usage is paid with prepaid credits bought by card, and older accounts get monthly invoices through Stripe (read 22 October 2026). Apple or Google Play balance does not reach the Claude Console. None of our cards pays Claude API credits.
What should you avoid when paying Claude with crypto?
Shared Claude seats, pre-made accounts and "activations" that need your login. Anthropic's Consumer Terms say "You may not share your Account login information, Anthropic API key, or Account credentials with anyone else". Its Usage Policy bans providing access to Claude "through unauthorized means".
A card that you redeem on your own Apple or Google account breaks none of these rules. For an app-store purchase, Anthropic's terms say the store's rules on payment, billing and refunds "will apply instead of these Terms."

Can I pay Claude with Bitcoin?
Not directly: Anthropic takes credit and debit cards only. You pay Bitcoin for an Apple or Google Play card, then subscribe in the Claude app with that balance. AISubswithCrypto accepts BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC.
Can I pay Claude with PayPal?
Not on claude.ai: Anthropic says it does not accept "third-party payment processors such as PayPal or Venmo". In the mobile app, the App Store or Google Play decides the payment options.
